Mango margaritas are the ultimate way to transport yourself to the Caribbean of Pacific coast of Mexico in an instant! Mangos are one of nature’s sweetest fruits, making the mango margarita not require so much added sugar. Recipes for mango margaritas can found right here on Mex Adventure, but I am going to share with you my very own mango margarita recipe!

To make great mango margaritas, you need to start with the basics of margarita making: tequila, lime and lemon juice, orange flavored liquor, ice, salt, and skanky margarita glasses. What you need to do first is peel and seed a mango (it’s a pain, I know, but trust me – fresh beats fake all to shame! You’ll be glad you used fresh) cut it in chunks and liquefy it in the blender with a little water, if you need to. Now, to prepare your glasses, pour some salt on a plate then rub the rims with a wedge of lemon or lime, and put the rims in the salt so it will stick. Add ice to the glasses. Take an ounce and a half of your mango puree and put it in a shaker with ice. Add one and a half ounces of tequila, one ounce of orange flavored liquor, an ounce of lemon lime juice, and shake it! Pour it out over the ice in the glass. Repeat until you have the most beautiful mango margaritas around. You can easily make frozen ones by skipping the shaker step, and putting everything in the blender. Delish!
