Virgin Margarita Recipe
Recipes For Virgin Strawberry Margarita
Virgin margaritas are perfect for the kids, or for those who don’t drink. Here, we’re going to highlight a recipe for a virgin margarita.
All you need to make a virgin margarita on the rocks is ice, an 1/8 cup of salt, lemons and limes, (non alcoholic) margarita mix, a fancy margarita glass. Put the salt on a plate and shake is around until it is flat. Take a glass and rub the rim with one of the lemons or limes. Put the wet rim in the salt and swirl it around a little bit so the rim has salt on it. Fill it with ice. Pour about one ounce each of margarita mix and lemon/lime juice in a shaker and shake over ice, then pour it in the glass. Repeat with more glasses for your non alcoholic margaritas!
There are a lot of different recipes for virgin strawberry margaritas, but I would suggest you just thaw out some frozen strawberries. You can then liquefy them in a blender. You might need to add some water to the mixture. Do the same salt rim for these margaritas as with the normal ones. Add ice to the glass, and shake the lemon/lime juice, margarita mix, and strawberry mix then pour that over the ice and enjoy! You can use this virgin margarita recipe with almost any fruit you can think of: cantaloupe is really tasty; you can add some grapefruit juice as well for a yummy twist. Pomegranate juice is another great choice, and full of antioxidants!
