Authentic Mexican Dishes

All Mexican Dishes

Mexican dishes can range from super simple, like making a taco buffet, to super intricate, like mole. As long as you are good at following directions, you can make virtually any Mexican dish there is. If you have the basic ingredients: meat, onions, chiles, tomatoes, cheese, and tortillas, you can make a Mexican meal. All Mexican dishes contain at least one of these ingredients! I am going to start posting recipes and Mexican food ideas along with a little history and fun facts about Mexican cuisine along the way. Check back soon to see what else there is right here on MexAdventure!

I will cover the most popular Mexican dishes out there: enchiladas, tacos, soups, and the millions of things you can do with chiles! Mexican dishes are pretty easy to prepare, so even if you are a novice in the kitchen, you will be able to create fabulous Mexican food in no time! There are so many wonderful regional dishes that you might have heard of, and might not have. At any rate, I will cover the most popular dishes from each region of our neighbors south of the border. You will be able to learn about the carne asada of the north all the way down to the moles of Chiapas.

Mexican dishes should be a staple in your weeknight meals. Many of them require little or no prep, and most of them can be prepared in under an hour. Check back often for new recipes!
