For food lovers, there is a Chili Cook Off that takes place at Manal beach club. You find more than a hundred chefs meeting up here to compete against one another in their culinary skills in this competition.

Another Rocky Point event for food lovers is the Shrimp and Commerce Festival. This festival is basically a showcase of culinary skills from local restaurants along with regional dance performances, live music and the sale of factory priced handicrafts, furniture, etc.

There are Annual Golf Tournaments arranged every year at a cost of $80 per player. You also have the Super Bowl Party for bowling enthusiasts to pit their skills against each other. The famous softball tournament of Rocky Point has teams of three and more people gathering to pitch their skills with each other in front of an increasing number of spectators every year.

The Spring Break is generally organized in the month of March, mainly for the convenience of college and high school students from USA. To add some spike to the Spring Break, there is also a Spring Break Feast with live rock band music.

Popular season in Rocky Point
Semana Santa is considered to be one of the most popular seasons of the year in Rocky Point. This is why the most number of visitors come to Rocky Point at this time of the year every year.

Rocky Point is also famous for hosting beach volleyball and other challenging games. The tournament is held on the beach, in front of the Sonoran Sea resort. At the most, 55 teams from US and Mexico compete in four divisions for prizes. An interesting addition to Rocky Point events is the Rocky Point Challenge.

In this event groups of four race the clock doing challenges that don’t actually require any specific skills. All they need to win here is a fun attitude and teamwork. Then there is the Las Palomas Triathlon in April, which is held on a new venue that has a bike course and a track. This event is possible with the help of great sponsors.

Besides all this, there is a myriad of other events that will keep anyone and everyone enthralled and engaged in Rocky Point. There are fun rally bikers’ fests, deep sea fishing tournaments, fairs, tortilla festivals, fishing derbies, basketball championships and jazz parties giving you more reason to head to Rocky Point for your next vacation.
